I Suck!
Ok, so I totally suck at keeping this up to date! I know that it would be one of those things that I was really 'gung ho' about in the beginning and then it would taper off. Just like all of my other projects! Well, me and Mike are getting ready to go to New Mexico for my grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary. Gosh, I hope that we get to see that one day! Anyways, this will be the first time that Mike has met my grandparents and I haven't seen them in almost 10 years. Wow, time really does fly right before your eyes! We have to board the dogs while we are away but we found a good place for them to stay. They stayed there for 7 days while we were on our cruise in March and when we went to pick them up they were great! The employees were very sad to see them go because they thought they were soooo cute. They are adorable! :) They get to stay in indoor/outdoor runs and get to play in a big grassy backyard with the employees twice a day. They are only going to be there Friday afternoon until Sunday morning so it will be a short trip. I am a little worried just because Hef has been sick since Saturday and I hope he is better before we go. He has had bloody diarrhea, shaky all over like he is always cold, decreased appetite, and is EXTREMELY cuddly....basically like a flu bug. I took him to the Vet because I was worried about him. Usually Mike tells me I am overreacting but he was actually worried too so it made me worry even more! The Vet told me that he thinks that he either ate something that didn't agree with him or that he might have parasites so he gave me some medication and special diet to put him on. He actually seemed better today. He is acting more like himself but still has the diarrhea and he actually threw up. I felt so bad because we keep them in their kennel while we are at work and when I came home to let them out Hef ran straight outside because he had to poop so bad! I felt so bad for him. I might try and leave them out if Mike is cool with it tomorrow just so he doesn't have to be uncomfortable for that long. He is so trained not to poop in his kennel that he will hold it until he bursts!
